New Release (June 2024) with Azica Records, in all digital platforms.
This album is a dedication to the memory of my beloved brother, Pedro, who passed away five years ago.
I feel like the entire album is a profound exploration of the evocative powers of music as a vessel for catharsis and healing. Through playing this music, I feel I grieve and release the pain of Pedro' s loss.
The recording is also a rendition to the human voice through the flute. Music by Schubert, Mahler and Medtner, (some never recorded before arrangements), as well as a new composition by my dear friend and collaborator, Alan Thomas, based on Dvorak's Song to the Moon from his opera Rusalka.
Moliner is a fantastic flutist, every note she plays is part of the story. She weaves a line with colors, vibrato use or the lack thereof, and a sensuality that is exactly what the music requires….
it is a master class in musicality….
Flute Talk Magazine
Spanish flutist Eugenia Moliner is a consummate virtuoso, not merely in her peerless technique but in sheer musicianship.
Moliner not only matches Joan Sutherland’s peerless full-voiced lyricism in the Verdi but is able to do things with her flute that a soprano can only dream of. Stunning artist.
